This small coastal town is famous it's landmark red and white lighthouse called 'Split Point Lighthouse' built in 1891. The lighthouse directs ships to towards another lighthouse at Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. Its white light is visible for 30kms and the red light can be seen 15 km's away. There are excellent views of the coast from the lighthouse base.

- 120 kms from Melbourne via Princess Freeway, Surfcoast Highway then onto The Great Ocean Road.
